Markus Obser emphasizes the importance of raising awareness of IT security. He explains: “Raising awareness of IT security is one of the most important factors in successfully meeting the complex challenges of digital transformation. At handz.on, we are firmly convinced that this should not just be a matter for experts, but that raising awareness among companies and users is also crucial to overcoming the growing cyber risks.”

About the Security Network Munich
The Security Network is a cooperation of companies and research institutions in the greater Munich area. Originally launched as a project funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, the non-profit association “Sicherheitsnetzwerk München e.V.” was founded in January 2019. The members of the network include both providers and users of IT security solutions, from large corporations to medium-sized companies and research institutions.
The security network is the organizer of the annual Munich Cyber Security Conference
A particular highlight in the association’s calendar of events is the Munich Cyber Security Conference (MCSC), which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2024. The MCSC has become an important platform for international dialog on cyber threats. The MCSC 2024 will take place from February 15 to 16 at the Munich Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), where handz.on will of course also be taking part.
