With the appointment of Pierre Cordes, we have brought an experienced employee on board to support our team in software development for cloud services, which are marketed under the “handz.on as a service” label. Cordes also plays an important role as an external project manager in a partner project and is co-initiator of the so-called “handz.on Garage” project. The aim of this internal development project is to collect and evaluate new product ideas in a start-up environment, assess them economically and integrate them into the product development process if necessary.
Pierre Cordes brings with him an impressive professional career: Before joining handz.on, he worked for Materna for over two decades and before that spent six years at a company specializing in the manufacture of vehicles and industrial parts. With his training as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant, he has many years of experience in software development, consulting and management.
Cordes expressed his delight at the new challenge at handz.on: “I see it as an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to the further development of our product range and services in the areas of enterprise service management, asset management and Information Security as part of the handz.on team with immediate effect. Our concept of forming multidisciplinary teams of consultants, IT architects and developers opens up numerous advantages for our customers. It ensures fast and smooth coordination in all areas of work – be it identifying customer requirements, designing solutions or developing customized solutions,” explained Cordes enthusiastically.
