Customers of the Munich-based IT service provider now benefit from officially certified, maximum Information Security for their data
Munich, 31.01.2023: handz.on has been ISO-27001 certified since January 2023, underlining its specialization in the field of Information Security. The certification by TÜV Rheinland now gives the IT service provider even better access to particularly security-sensitive customers, who now have official confirmation that handz.on is a strong partner for their critical information assets.
ISO 27001 certification is the leading international standard for Information Security management systems (ISMS) and therefore the most important Cyber Security certification. It offers companies a systematic and structured approach to planning, implementing, monitoring and improving operational Information Security and helps to protect confidential data in the best possible way.
Companies that want to be successfully certified must have precisely defined all processes relevant to Information Security – starting with the classification of information and a directory of these information assets through to the corresponding supporting systems. It is also important to ensure the successful implementation and use of Information Security risk management and the definition of how to handle potential incidents. The ISO standard also places particular emphasis on the continuous optimization of processes and raising the awareness of all personnel.
“Information security has always been at the heart of our business activities,” explains Markus Obser, founder and managing partner of handz.on. “This is reflected in particular in our integrative consulting approach, which takes Data Protection and Information Security issues into account permanently and from the outset for every challenge in enterprise service management or asset management. The ISO certification underlines our security standards and gives our customers the certainty that our business processes meet the highest Information Security standards,” Obser continues.
