Munich, <\/b>September 25, 2025: <\/b> In Dr. Gerald Bauer, handz.on has brought a proven AI expert onto the team who will continue to drive the expansion of the AI department at the Munich-based IT service provider. Whether at international corporations or innovative start-ups, the computer science graduate has been working in the field of AI since 2007 and has been advising companies on the implementation of complex AI projects for many years. The 45-year-old holds a doctorate from the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). <\/b><\/b>Intelligence (DFKI).<\/b><\/div>\n

Dr. Gerald Bauer has been Director AI at handz.on since September and is responsible for the further development of the AI department. Before joining the Munich-based IT service provider, the DFKI-qualified computer scientist demonstrated his AI expertise at both international companies and various start-ups, successfully helping to establish and scale the latter. His experience focuses on team and agile project management. The AI specialist is a certified Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner. He also successfully completed the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification of the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2015. <\/p>\n
